Joy Glad
Joy Glad is the Founder and CEO of Dynamic Safety and Environmental LLC, a South Salt Lake-based company dedicated to enhancing employee safety. With a diverse background in mining, manufacturing, education, and consulting, Joy has consistently worked to reduce injury rates and foster positive safety cultures. Her practice as an EMT and firefighter in the mining industry fueled her determination to prevent workplace injuries. Joy is a respected public speaker, and an instructor for the Utah Safety Council, passionate about teaching occupational safety classes, and empowering women in the safety community through education and networking. Joe Stagg
Having dedicated 30 years to the Process and Comfort Heating & Cooling industry, Joe Stagg brings a comprehensive understanding gained through selling, servicing, and designing commercial and industrial systems. This multifaceted experience formed the bedrock for his vision in building IHS Flow University. As the company’s principal instructor, Joe passionately shares his insights, deep experience and practical wisdom. He regularly engages with clients in their mechanical rooms, leveraging his expertise to pinpoint areas for system enhancement and optimization. Joe is laser-focused on delivering tangible results by optimizing system performance and significantly reducing operational costs for his clients.
Narsimha Irrinki
Narsimha Irrinki is a seasoned health care facilities executive with over 30 years of experience leading operations, planning, and regulatory compliance for complex hospital systems. As a Facilities Executive at Santa Clara Valley Healthcare, he oversees engineering, environmental services, food and nutrition, security, life safety, environmental health and safety, clinical engineering, planning, design, and construction, and emergency management across four hospitals and multiple ambulatory sites. Narsimha also serves as a hospital life safety code surveyor with Joint Commission and is recognized as a trusted voice in integrating emergency preparedness into infrastructure planning. He is a licensed professional mechanical engineer and holds a master’s degree in emergency management from the University of Southern California, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from South Dakota State University. He is a past president of the California Society for Healthcare Engineering (CSHE) and currently serves on ASHE’s Region 9 Advisory Board. Narsimha is committed to advancing the profession by advocating for healthcare facility professionals, strengthening resilient healthcare infrastructure, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
Jonathan J. Flannery
As the Senior Associate Director, ASHE Regulatory Affairs of the American Society for Health Care Engineering of the American Hospital Association, Jonathan manages ASHE’s advocacy relations to federal agencies and code development organizations that affect the healthcare physical environment. Jonathan provides testimony, engages in deliberation, and develops public comments on proposed regulations to the benefit of ASHE and AHA members. Jonathan currently serves as a voting member of ASHRAE SSPC 241, 514 and 170, Chair of the G43 Work Group, voting member of NFPA 90A & B and the ICC Committee on Health Care. Jonathan has over 35 years of health care engineering experience and has served as ASHE faculty teaching national programs on healthcare construction, managing life safety, fundamentals of healthcare engineering and has presented at national conferences in relation to the physical environment. Jonathan is a certified health care facility manager, has a master’s in health systems administration and fellow status with ASHE and ACHE.
Jon Cohen
Jon is the Vice President of Technical Operations for C&S Chemicals. He holds a BA in Biology, an MS in Chemical Engineering, and an Executive MBA. Jon has spent his entire career in industrial water treatment, with nearly 35 years’ experience, working across almost every market. He has served several industry associations in different capacities, including The Cooling Technology Institute drafting technical responses, working on and chairing committees, leading the creation of society technical guidelines, and as a board member. Jon has also volunteered a lot of time for ASHRAE, serving on many technical committees, chaired their Conference and Exposition committee responsible for conference technical content, serving on standard and guideline committees, most notably Standard 188, Guideline 12, Standard 514, and Standard 400 all relating to Legionella and other waterborne pathogens in water systems. He is currently chair of TC3.6, the ASHRAE technical committee on water treatment. Jon has numerous publications and presentations on water topics from chemical and equipment applications, to minimizing health risks in water systems, and the use of AI in water. Jon has spent the last 20 years as a technical, marketing, and operations leader, focused on solving difficult issues impacting commercial, institutional, and industrial water systems through advanced technologies.
Cheryl Wilde
Cheryl Wilde has been a trainer and facilitator with Next Level Leadership for over 15 years. With a degree in Human Resource Development, she has experience doing both internal and external training for large corporations such as GTE and American Express, as well as contract consulting for additional organizations. Through Next Level Leadership, she has focused her work on the engineering and construction industry by helping companies and project teams to develop greater communication skills, conflict resolution, and culture building. She is also a certified trainer for the Trust Edge course through the Trust Edge Leadership Institute.
