Better Work-Life Balance. How to avoid burnout.
The theme of the conference is how do we avoid burnout. This years conference will be a virtual conference, full of even more opportunities for educational and training. The we are planning some exciting topics, raffles, and events for the conference. The conference programming offers topics affecting the future of the health care built environment and presents research and presentations focusing on team collaboration and more.

Speaker Bios
David Emery, CHFM, FMP is a Facility Manager for Utah Valley Hospital. He has lived in 6 different states and orchestrated 9 different teams to work together. He has worked with frontline staff in his contractor days to get the most out of them. He has experienced in understanding on how work-life balance effects personally and applied it to 9 different teams. He received his Bachelors degree at Brigham Young University in Facility Management and a minor in Business. He is currently a CHFM and pursuing a Master’s Degree.
Megan Call, Ph.D is a licensed counseling psychologist, an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and the Director of the University of Utah Health Resiliency Center. She has research and clinical interests in promoting resilience and well-being among health care professionals, with a specific focus on embracing vulnerability and discomfort, incorporating informal mindfulness into everyday practice, improving communication and relationship skills among teams, and addressing systematic change.
Lindsey Brackett, CHC is the President of Legacy FM, LLC, a Certified Healthcare Constructor, a thought leader, and an influencer in the Healthcare Facilities Management industry. She has 10 years of experience providing solutions, including staff assessments and training, to facilities management teams. Lindsey has led the development and management of over 120 educational resources and currently serves as Faculty for ASHE’s Sustainability Educational Programs, chairs the ASHE Sustainability Task Force, and authored numerous articles and white papers for the health care facilities management industry.
