USHE Look & Learn: Keeping Healthcare Safe During Construction
When: Friday April 30th from 10-11:30 am

    Event Description

This USHE Look & Learn will be a panel discussion with the diverse teams responsible for safety and construction in Intermountain Healthcare facilities. The panelists include Architects, Industrial Hygiene, and Infection Prevention Officers. The discussion will be an engaging and insightful conversation on the importance of maintaining patient safety from various angles during construction and minimizing the risk of the spread of pathogenic organisms in hospitals during construction projects. Many factors should be planned for before starting construction in a healthcare environment. The patients are a high-risk population, and extra precautions and measures must be exercised to minimize possible contamination and harm.
Join us to hear from the team that collaborates every day to ensure the safety of the healthcare environment. This will be an excellent time to learn from each other, so please come ready to engage.
